Reminder Problems

Troubleshooting appointment reminder notifications.

Check Your Reminder Settings

If you are not receiving appointment reminders, first verify that a reminder was selected when the appointment was created.

Open the appointment.
Verify that a reminder time has been selected.
If no reminder is selected, edit the appointment and choose a reminder.
Save the appointment.

Check Android Notification Settings

Appointment Manager requires notification permission to display reminders.

Open your phone's Settings app.
Select Apps.
Open Appointment Manager.
Select Notifications.
Make sure notifications are turned on.

If notifications are disabled, reminders cannot be displayed.

Disable Battery Optimization

Some Android devices automatically stop background applications to save battery power. This may prevent reminders from appearing.

Open your phone's Settings.
Select Battery.
Open Battery Optimization or Background Apps.
Find Appointment Manager.
Allow the app to run in the background or disable battery optimization for it.

Battery-saving features on Samsung, Motorola, Xiaomi, Huawei, and other devices may delay or block reminder notifications.

Additional Things to Check

Verify that your phone's date and time are correct.
Restart your phone after changing notification settings.
Make sure your phone is not in Do Not Disturb mode.
Install the latest version of Appointment Manager.
